While waiting for the fall ice to form on Hudson Bay, a polar bear with time to kill leaps into his element. Essentially a carnivorous marine mammal, the polar bear seems to enjoy playing in the cold water of the arctic. Polar bears have been sighted hundreds of miles from land, but most of their time in the water is spent moving from one ice flow to another in pursuit of seals.
