We are still looking for 1 or 2 more dogsledding guides for the upcoming season. Training will start ~ Nov. 1st. You will be working outside directly with the dogs running guided tours and must be willing to put their needs and care as your top priority. You must live in or nearby Leadville, have reliable transportation, and be punctual. If you love dogs, aren't afraid a little hard work, early mornings, and making great money, we want to hear from you.
Must be willing to commit to the entire season through at least the end of March at minimum, most likely through mid-April. This is a very busy seasonal operation, so if you're looking to ski/ride 100 days this season, this is NOT the job for you.
I am also starting to look for 2-3 office/reservation staff for the upcoming season, as well as a Summit County based shuttle driver. Must be good on the phone and be proficient enough with a computer to be able to run our user friendly web-based reservation system. Shuttle driver must be comfortable driving a 15-passenger van in adverse winter conditions, reliable, and on time.
*** Due to some of the replies we've had thus far, I'm going to make this is as clear as possible for those that didn't comprehend the verbiage in the post above. If you are interested in a guide or office staff position and do not currently live in Leadville or plan to live here this winter, please don't waste your time or ours by replying.
