Incorporated in 1934, Mount Massive Lakes is one of the oldest fishing clubs west of the Mississippi. Our chain of 22 lakes boasts some the finest trout fishing to be found anywhere in the contiguous United States, and certainly the best fishing of its kind in Colorado. Our members enjoy catching a variety of trout species, including Rainbow, Brown, Cutthroat and Brook Trout. In addition, we also have hybrid species not commonly found in trout waters of Colorado, like Tiger Trout which is a cross between a brown and a brook trout. Full time staff manage and raise tens of thousands of trout in the fish hatchery yearly. This is a private fishing club for our150 members. Guests and family members are welcome to visit and enjoy catching big fish!
