OMG just bought a bag of dog food. Paid cash but handed the girl the bill and was pulling out the 8 cents for the exact total. She told me that she already hit enter with the bill amount. I said that you can't count it out so I don't have to carry an extra 92 cents?
Her answer was: I would get written up for that.
So it it big corporate and a stupid policy? Or stupid staff that can't count?
