Duties May Include
Weekly Compliance Activities- Collect water samples and water quality data from multiple water treatment systems on a weekly basis. Deliver the samples to the designated laboratory under chain-of-custody protocols. Complete a field visit sheet for each site and submit them to the office on the same day as the visit.
Groundwater Treatment System Operations and Maintenance- Inspect each groundwater treatment system during weekly visits to document operations, to identify and report leaks or other system issues.
Additional fieldwork as needed.
Estimated Work Load
3-6 hours, as needed, each week for completing weekly sampling activities.
0-2 hours, as needed, each week for completing operations and maintenance activities, when required.
Requirements
Driver’s license and vehicle- provide your own transportation to/from job sites extending from Silverthorne to Vail .
Availability- Completing weekly sampling activities requires approximately 3 hours per site, with samples delivered to overnight shipping services by 1:00PM. Shipments to laboratory in Arvada. Must have reliable availability every week on the same day of the week. No weekends.
Able to lift up to 40 pounds.
HAZWOPER training preferred.
